HAPPY CAMPERS!
Take a look at what our guests have to say about Hidden Lakes RV Resort.
Great campground to stay at owners are very personal and there for anything, nice playgrounds for kids and a fenced in dog run.
We had the absolute best weekend at Hidden Lakes RV Resort! The staffing was more than accommodating to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Between the pond, playgrounds, kid activities, and live entertainment we were never found bored. Even our dog loved the dog park. We can’t wait to be back soon!
We are here for a month we love it it is beautiful. Sterling & Bill Lester are great hosts and the staff is great. Dina and the crew keep it very well maintained and the lakes are great and so is the fishing. Can’t wait to come back next year, they have it all. The Wi-Fi is great you have 50 amp, water, sewer and your electric all included. This is a new camp ground, large grassy area at your camp with fire pit, trees are newly planted will be great in no time. We will be back next year.
Beautifully designed RV resort. It is brand new and still developing, and everything is high-end! The sites are nice sized with a concrete pad, full hookup including 30 and 50 amp electrical service at every site. We enjoyed the band, potluck, and pancake breakfast the weekend we stayed, and the guests were very friendly and nice. We’ll definitely be back!
Stayed here for the first day this Mother’s Day weekend, such a nice resort, nice big oversized concert pads. Elise and sterling went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay, met one of the owners Bill and he has some major plans to make the resort bigger and better. We look forward to camping here again. Thanks for a great weekend.
Playground: The grandkids loved playing at both play areas
Restrooms: Very clean
Dog-friendliness: Sterling came by and gave the pup some dog treats
Picnic area: Nice pavilion area
We stayed here three beautiful 80 degree days beginning Oct 2nd. Lisa was very pleasant and helpful answering all my questions prior to arrival. Sterling was the quintessential host during our stay. The conversations my husband and I had with him were great and informative.
The clubhouse has a wonderful full kitchen with all you would need for an indoor family event, minus a stove. You can always utilize chafing dishes or something similar.
They have a Free Little Book Library inside as well. Great idea!
There’s a nice size patio behind the clubhouse with several tables and umbrellas, and even a gas fire pit you can use if you’d like.
The sites are tremendously spacious. Right now there’s full sun because the trees are newly planted.
Having a campground with all cement roads, and cement to put your unit on is a major plus. No dirt, gravel, or asphalt here!!
There’s a pickle ball court on the grounds next to the clubhouse.
The resort is gated. To enter after 7 or 8 pm, you’ll need a code.
The outdoor shower by the pool is really nicely designed with what appears to be limestone. The design of the whole building was well thought out.
The pool wasn’t working because they’ve been waiting on certain filters which are needed. It’s a rather large pool in my opinion. Ultimately it’s supposed to be a salt water pool.
The only concern I have is the odor of the water. It’s not constant, but when it’s there, you know it. We used a water softener and a filter (as we always do) and didn’t get any staining in our RV sinks or shower. We wouldn’t drink directly from the faucet.
We’ll definitely be returning next year and can’t wait to see the continued progress and success of the resort.
Dog-friendliness: The dog park was very clean.
We booked a stay over the 4th of July Holiday. We were very happy with our site, it was quite spacious and our view of the lakes reminded me so much of the cottages we had up north. The staff is very friendly and always asked if there were any suggestions to make our stay even better. Our son loved the planned activities, as did we. We made tie dyed shirts and played bingo, and generally had an excellent time. We have already booked future dates and look forward to our next visit!
Beautiful campground! Cement sites are nice and wide. Once campground is fully established it will be even better. Only suggestion is that the fire pit rings need to be lifted to get air underneath to let it breathe. We will definitely be back.
We had a great weekend at the campground. Very nice fishing peir and very nice site. The main thing that we liked was everything was included in the rental. The restrooms were very clean. We will definitely be back.
Absolutely loved our stay here! Fun for all members of the family. Already booked our next stay in September with them.
It was our first visit to Hidden Lakes and it was Great!!!! Everything is beautiful. We would like to give an EXTRA BIG THANK YOU to Elyse for making watching the Michigan – Michigan State game so comfortable in the clubhouse!!!!
The name of this campground should be Hidden Gem Campground. Campgrounds in this area are a little hard to come by for larger rigs. This one meets every need for a full-time rv family. Very large paved spots, 2 beautiful lakes for swimming and fishing, salt water swimming pool(coming very soon), 2 play gyms for kids, allows fences for dogs, the office is beautiful and has a store in it, THE NICEST PEOPLE EVER WORK THERE!! This place truly is an amazing campground that checks all of the boxes!! If you’re in the area, it is worth it!!
My husband and I stayed here for two nights June 7-9. This RV Resort is amazing! We love how all the sites are concrete and a lot of space. The grounds are well kept. The two lakes are beautiful! We will definitely be back to go swimming in the salt water pool. I really appreciate our host text us to let us know what was going on during our stay. Sterling was very nice giving our dog treats. Family fun RV Resort! We are aware that is a new RV Resort and wait to return and all the other things that will enhance this wonderful RV Resort. Thank you having us to stay at this beautiful RV Resort. See you soon!
This is a brand new park and even at that it’s already wonderful! Concrete sites that are spaced very nicely. Sterling is an awesome host and insures your stay is the best! There are a lot of plans for expansion of the park that will make it a great place to go. Definitely a repeat for us. I highly recommend Hidden Lakes!
We stayed here for about 2 months and overall had a good experience. Concrete spots, large yards, beautiful lakes, very kind staff, and they put on a lot of events for the campers. They also cooked for everyone often, which we really enjoyed.
This is definitely a good weekend getaway not close to many things, but if you’re looking to stay monthly prepare to drive 30+ minutes to town.
I think once this campground finishes adding amenities and gets some type of water filtration system in place, it will be a wonderful campground. It’s only been open a couple months, and it always takes time to work out the kinks, but due to the how awful the water was I can’t say we will come back here.
Really nice RV park. They had two ponds, one for swimming and I believe the other is stocked with fish (please correct me if I’m wrong). My best friend’s sister had a family gathering at their spot a while back, and it was very enjoyable. Great location off the beaten path. Depending on where you’re coming from, please keep in mind that Google Maps may lead you to a private drive that’s not associated, campground is actually just up the road around the bend.
We really enjoyed our 2nd time camping at Hidden Lakes! A special thanks to Elyse for letting us watch big game in the clubhouse and an awesome breakfast on Sunday. Thanks again!
This RV park is stunning! For being brand new and the God awful weather we had this spring, I was amazed as to what they had completed in such a short time. Every staff member was incredibly kind, which made for an enjoyable stay. After speaking with the owners and hearing of ALL the great amenities coming next year, I was super stoked! The two lakes are beautiful, the walking path is amazing, and the sunset and sunrise view is incredible. The full hookup is a huge plus. I can’t wait to spend a lot of time next summer as there are so many fun things to do, from fishing, kayaking, pickleball, and a swimming lake that BTW is very clear and refreshing, the swimming pool, volleyball (beach), and all the fun activities they have for the kiddos and adults as well. This is just the first phase from my understanding. The landscaping is stunning with freshly planted trees. I would give 10 stars if I could!! Highly recommended this RV park! It is so nice to have an upscale RV park on this side of Michigan. The prices are more than fair. Oh, and wifi boosters provided so on rainy days, you can actually enjoy a movie. There are picnic tables and fire pits at each site. I understand this is a new park and can totally envision how much more beautiful it would be once everything is completed. I read the reviews, and I do not understand why some people cannot envision the greatness this RV park will be. I can see it, I see the beauty now! I will be back and will tell all my rv family to come as well!
We stayed here this weekend. Very nice and clean sites. Dog and family friendly.
Went to Hidden Lakes over Memorial Day weekend. Had a great time. The park was clean and the site was large.
The employees were very friendly. They had activities for us to do and a pancake breakfast on Memorial Day.
We will be going back in September.
Very nice, beautiful views of the lakes, and quiet setting. I personally like an open campground. I can make my own shade if needed. Alot of great features going on here. This will end up being a top 10 campground in Michigan. Great people own and operate this place. Can’t list any cons yet because they are still in the opening and learning process. We will be back.
What a beautiful place!! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Sterling was so kind and made sure we had a great experience and we did! The live entertainment and all the activities for the kids along with the beautiful fishing and swimming ponds kept everyone of all ages entertained. Thank you to Bill and Carol for a great breakfast and the staff for making us feel at home. We will back!!
Absolutely a wonderful camp ground very clean well manicured. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. We are going back in a couple weeks it was so nice and relaxing.
